Lewis Road Creamery 
Banoffee Milk

In collaboration with Hayden Doughty, Designer with Lewis Road Creamery, I contributed to the development of the campaign and packaging for the new Banoffee Flavoured Milk.

'Inspired by the indulgent Banoffee Pie dessert, our latest flavour combines our signature fresh white milk with natural banana puree and a rich, creamy caramel, creating a delectable treat.'

This project was a significant learning experience, marking my first involvement in FMCG and packaging design from concept to production. While working within strict brand guidelines and legal constraints on the packaging, I thoroughly enjoyed the process of conceptualising fonts, colours, and refining the finer details to ensure the design seamlessly aligned with the rest of the product family’s visual identity.

I am especially grateful for the insights Hayden shared regarding product and packaging manufacturing throughout the project. His expertise has not only expanded my design skills but also reshaped the way I approach design challenges in the FMCG space

Label Design

The label design for this project underwent multiple iterations, as we experimented with various fonts, colour schemes (including caramel and yellow for a banana flavour), and layout options. This process was particularly rewarding, as it allowed me to explore more sophisticated typographic systems while adhering to printing and branding guidelines. A significant challenge arose when we realised the length of the ingredients list, which was considerably more detailed than for simpler flavours. We had to carefully balance fitting all the copy within the limited space on the label, while maintaining legibility and clarity. Additionally, working with a constrained front label space was a new experience, but the concise nature of the copy made it possible to seamlessly integrate the iconic Lewis Road ribbons, ensuring the design remained both functional and visually appealing

Product Launch Campaign

Promotional Media Card sent out to influencers in Aotearoa

Alongside the with the product label design, I also contributed to the design and rollout of a comprehensive suite of promotional materials, including social media, print, and digital assets, to engage both customers and trade buyers with the launch of the new flavoured milk. This project was particularly enjoyable as we were able to leverage existing visuals, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand experience across all platforms.
